According to Kyrgyz government regulation № 112 of 28 March 2008 on identification of entry visa order for new members of EU, Kyrgyz Visa is now required for the citizens of the following countries of Central and Eastern Europe:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, the Slovak Republic.
This regulation is in use since its issue.
If you are setting out your journey to Kyrgyzstan, make sure you have obtained Kyrgyz visa.

Our result in tourist season of 2007.

The season of 2007 is over with good showing.
Thank all our visitors very much for choosing our company’s assistance in traveling.

The geography of our visitors has become widen!
Travelers from Singapore enlarged the list of countries where the people come from to make travel in Kyrgyzia.

The Great Silk Way continues as the most popular direction of traveling for our visitors.
The types of traveling along the great route were widening this season. Besides of usual traveling by bus, we provided run on the Great Silk Way for 23 bikers from the USA and took a part in arranging rally for Russian TV team.

Our yurt camps “Tash-Rabat” and “Quite Bay” made a good showing.
The location of the yurt camps allows combining different sort of activities at one time.
Thus, we arranged trekking and horse-back riding in the picturesque places of the nearest gorges for travelers who were staying in “Quiet Bay” on the South shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
“Tash-Rabat” yurt camp has been in the great favor by its neighborhood with the ancient caravanserai, rock-climbing area around and the well-known Torugart Pass.

Among the climbers who got the top of Mustag-Ata this year is a lady from Austria.

14/03/2007. Kyrgyz ministry of transport and communication has signed contract with Chinese company "China road & bridge corporation" for road Osh - Sary-Tash - Irkeshtam (260 km) reabilitation.

17/05/2006. Cultural events, celebrations and festivities fulfill these dreams. In Kyrgyzia they have their origin in the traditional way of life and traditions from time immemorial and seem to appeal to more and more visitors. Music and dance, storytelling and folklore, national cuisine and displays of craft products combine a lot of the “different word” that visitors wish to experience. Kyrgyzia offers a series of festivals, from nomadic horse games to felt festivals that complement the tourism product. It is fortunate that most of them occur at the same time year after year and some even invite visitors to actively participate. The very favorable, sunny weather supports outdoor venues. A backdrop of spectacular mountain scenery provides unforgettable memories. A new addition to this calendar is the first At Chabysh Horse – and cultural Festival, to be held from October 29th to November 7th south of Lake Issyk-Kul. Kyrgyzia is offering an event that promises to be an extraordinary, authentic premier, a revival of authentic Kyrgyz culture and the age-old nomadic horse racing tradition, accompanied by an art exhibition, documentaries and of course, traditional food. Folklore Festival “Oimo” will takes place from July 28th to July30th north shore of Lake Issyk-Kul . Program festival will be: performance folklore musical groups, Central- Asian exhibition – fair of craft, presentation of nomadic theatre based on ancient Eposes, demonstration of national crafts – you can participate in it.

17/04/2006. Tourism Sector Committee Meeting No25 took place in Hyatt Regency on Thursday, March 30, 2006. During the meeting the following question were discussed:
1. Visa waiver lobby – Round Table.
- because of lack of the information about Embassies, the committee members decided to conduct listed bellow meetings before the round table in order to solve the current problems;
- conduct tourism committee meeting;
- write article about visas problems;
- to prepare the Press-Release and invite the Media.
2. Conception of Tourism sector development.
- to update the media concept of Helvetas project and monthly bulletin on the situation in the country and tourism sector of KR for the presentation to the Ministry as a suggest from IBC- (DR).
3. Officials Government Electronic newsletter about Tourism related donor projects in Kyrgyzia.
- find out if there any inter governmental agreements of CIS countries on visa regulation issues – (RP).

Exhibition “Intourmarket”

Kyrgyzia took part in exhibition “Intourmarket” in Moscow at 19 of March.
The agreement about cooperation in the field of tourism between the governments Russia and Kyrgyzia was signed.
One of its points was establishing the representation of Kyrgyzia in Russia by support of Rostourism.

28/02/06 -------------------------A chance for a fresh start.
In Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzia popular pushback against corrupt and unresponsive political leadership enabled a rotation of power, and with it an unprecedented opportunity for democratically oriented reform. In these three cases seriously flawed elections served as the catalyst for political turn-over. And 24 of March is a day of Kyrgyz revolution. Hope of Kyrgyz people is a new president – Kurmanbek Bakiev. The election has offered Bakiyev a chance for a fresh start, and he seems intent, at least outwardly, on trying to make the most of the opportunity. A key element of his strategy is a political alliance with Feliks Kulov, northern Kyrgyzia’s most influential politician. The arrangement, between Bakiyev and Kulov - prime minister, is designed to keep sectional tension in check, thus reducing the chances of political gridlock, and/or outright confrontation after the election. Kurmanbek Bakiyev’s victory in Kyrgyzia’s recent special presidential election could mark a first step in that country’s effort to normalize its politics. Important tests in the near-to-mid-term will include whether key institutions that represent the building blocks of a democratic system are able to mature and assert their independence. This includes the development of a vibrant news media, and enabling the independence and impartiality of the country’s judicial and legislative branches of government.

Russia has interest in tourism along Kyrgyzia.
It was November 22nd when Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia has conducted an Open house on tourism. Russia has a serious interest in Kyrgyz tourist product for the Russian market. Participants of the meeting discussed a situation in Kyrgyz Republic, safety, insurance of tourists, and also kinds of tourism. First charter group from Moscow will be next summer. There were Russian travel agencies and mass-media at the meeting .

China will give credit to Kyrgyzia on rehabilitation of a motorway.
Minister of Economics and the finance of Kyrgyzia ?kylbek Japarov and the president of Bank of Development of China Chang Juan have discussed questions of granting of the credit to the Kirgyzstan on rehabilitation of motorway “Osh – Sary-Tash - Irkeshtam”. In opinion prime-minister of the State Council of Peoples Republic of China Van Czyabao, It is strategically important object for all region. China has the big interest in cooperation, on road Osh-Sary-Tash-Irkeshtam. It is necessary to note, that China is interested in continuation of negotiations on construction of railway China – Kyrgyzia – Uzbekistan. This road will connect the south and the north of the country and will bring additional means in the budget of the state. Negotiations between Japarov and Yuan took place within the limits of the first Euroasian Economic Forum. The purpose of this Forum was discussion the cooperation in different sphere: energy, tourism, finance and assistance in dialogue between the local governments.

Tourism development of Naryn region.
“2006 will be year of tourism for Naryn region. Already several years foreign and our Kyrgyz tourists visit sacred place ??sh-Rabat actively. They admire incomparable landscapes near Lake Son-Kul and wildlife. Recently we have created regional tourism association, so its a practical step forward!” - Governor of Naryn region Jirgalbek Azylov has declared. Every year our company arranges a yurt camp near Tash-Rabat (stone structure, turk) caravanserai from end of May till September. This place is situated on the route to China and so many tourists prefer to spend one or two nights in our yurt camp, to make an excursion to Tash-Rabat (this is the biggest stone construction in Central Asia of 15th century AD) when they travel along Silk Road.

18/11/2005. -------------------We glad our results of 2005.
The tourist season was fruitful in spite of doubtful forecast after revolution. Many tourists were from USA, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, England, Germany, Russia, Belgium, Malaysia. Tourists from USA visited our republic in April. This group arrived in Kyrgyzia already on twentieth day after revolution with its full complement. The group from Malaysia was 38 persons by jeeps. It was a motor rally from Malaysia to London and Kyrgyzia was a part of this motor rally. They spent two nights in our yurt camps and saw Tash - Rabat caravanserai, delighted Lake Issyk-Kul. Italian group had long trek, they rose to the base camp on Enylchek Glacier. Alpinists from Italy climbed up Muztag-Ata and after it they had a rest on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Climbers from Slovenia conquered Peak Khan-Tengry, group from Switzerland conquered Peak Lenin. We are proud that many tourists prefer our company traveling along Silk Road. Our company planning to improve service, elaborating new programs according to your interests and preferences.

28/03/05 As you all know, the political changes took place in Kirgizia. At the moment the situation has stabilized. Security services control the situation. The excitement calmed down, people are back to their duties. All communicative means are functioning. The airports of Bishkek and Osh are open and receive planes. There is no any prohibition on entrance/exit the
country. There are no any threats for tourists to stay in Kirgizia as well.
The company Dostuck-Trekking works as usual and all colleagues are getting ready to meet the guests.
